A Paean to Spring

The promise of spring – I can smell it in the air and see hope in the lightening skies. It feels like this winter has been longer than usual. Maybe it was the early November snowfall, my visit to snowy Calgary last weekend or all the snow and rain in between, but I’m more than ready for spring. Now. Bye bye March.

It was this time a year ago that I decided to go on a tour of Greece and Turkey last May. I feel I should be going again. Where else would I rather be than enjoying a warm spring in the Mediterranean visiting ancient ruins? Well, if it isn’t to be I can enjoy the photos of gorgeous flowers I saw along the road and among the ruins there. And I can share them with you. Enjoy and sing a song of praise to Spring.
